The legend of Audemars Piguet started by two young enthusiast watchmakers in the year of 1875. 23-year-old Jules Louis Audemars met his future partner only 21-year-old Edward-Auguste Piguet at Vallée de Joux,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], the cradle of prestigious watch-making. With the direct supervision and strict quality control, Audemars Piguet achieved great success and became one of top three Swiss watchmakers along with Patek Philippe and Vacheron Constantin.
However, Rome is not built in one day. The trademark of Audemars Piguet was registered in 1882, and it was not until seven years later the company was officially founded.
