Five New Orleans Saints miss practice Sunday; no word on status for some in Vikings game
Five New Orleans Saints players were not in pads and practicing Sunday.
Two of them, safety Darren Sharper and linebacker Clint Ingram, have been placed on the physically unable to perform list and thus were not expected to pracice and aren't eligible to play when the Saints open their season 7:30 p.m. Thursday against Minnesota.
Also out were cornerback [link widoczny dla zalogowanych], who has missed practice intermittently but not played since the Texans game in week two of the preseason; linebacker Stanley Arnoux and running back Chris Ivory.
Coach Sean Payton said he was not required to provide any injury information Sunday and therefore would not, leaving the status of those three players unclear.
